BlockTech is a fast-paced algorithmic trading firm facilitating global cryptocurrency trading while expanding into regulated markets. As we continue to grow rapidly, we are offering a Software Engineering Internship in Singapore.
What will you do?
As a Software Engineering Intern at BlockTech, you’ll help build and optimise some of ourlow latency systems that power our global trading operation. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, traders, and quants, contributing to real production components where performance matters and your work has measurable impact.
This internship is ideal for highly motivated students who want hands-on exposure to high-performance engineering in a fast-paced, algorithmic trading environment.
You will:
Design and build low latency components optimised for speed, scalability, and robustness
Optimise and scale existing trading infrastructure for maximum performance and reliability
Own your work from development through to deployment
Collaborate with traders, quants, and engineers to deliver state-of-the-art trading technology
Experiment, iterate and innovate by testing ideas and shipping code

Job requirements
You’re currently studying (or recently graduated in) CS, Engineering, Math, or a similar field
You have strong fundamentals in programming, algorithms, and systems thinking
You’re excited about building fast, low-latency systems
You’re comfortable working in Linux environments
You can own tasks end-to-end, but love collaborating with a team
You’re hands-on, curious, and learn quickly
You communicate clearly in English (spoken + written)
Bonus points if you have experience with:
Rust or (C/C++)
Performance profiling and benchmarking
Concurrency and multithreading
