Software Engineer

Who are we looking for?

BlockTech is a fast-paced algorithmic trading firm facilitating global cryptocurrency trading while expanding into regulated markets. As we continue to grow rapidly, we are looking for a  Software Engineer to join us amid our exciting scale-up phase!

What will you do?

-Design and develop brand-new components that push the boundaries of performance, scalability and efficiency with Rust and/or Python 

-Optimize and scale our existing trading infrastructure, ensuring it remains fast, robust, and reliable.

-Take full ownership of projects—your work directly influences the company's success.

-Collaborate with our traders, quants, and engineers to develop state-of-the-art trading technology.

-2+ years of commercial working experience as a Software Engineer using object-oriented languages

-Willingness to work with Rust and Python

-A critical mind who follows things until completion

-The ability to confidently work on completely new components

-A high level of responsibility and ownership

-Good written and verbal communication skills in English
